Fox Has No Malicious Intent

Chapter 311: Forest Musk Deer

"Boom——"

The metal hammer descended like a falling star, striking the forest and causing foxes and squirrels to scurry in panic. Black smoke billowed into the sky but was quickly dispersed by the wind from the rotors of two armed helicopters, gradually drifting away.

"Perfect landing!"

Master Fox, as light as a swallow, floated down onto the treetop, treading the branches, leaping forward and rolling several times in the air before landing firmly on the ground.

After Master Fox landed steadily, the armed helicopters above circled around, projecting two beams of light as bright as the sun directly onto the ground, using searchlights to help Master Fox lock onto the Forest Musk Deer.

"Woof——"

The Forest Musk Deer, caught in the searchlight, opened its mouth, revealing a pair of fangs, and with a solemn face, shouted a threatening call towards the sky.

Its voice was particularly unique, not large in size, about the size of an Alaskan, with continuous barking echoing in the ears.

"Humans! Do you still dare to come and intrude into my forest range? My patience has its limits!"

The Forest Musk Deer's voice trembled, but for whatever reason, it was still prepared to stand its ground to the death.

"Boom——"

It was as if some tall creature in the forest was waving its big hand, stirring up a gale, snapping any trees in its path.

Under the watchful eyes of the Forest Musk Deer, a white Four-tailed Fox with an arm on a giant hammer resting on its shoulder stepped out from the forest, facing the gray Forest Musk Deer head-on.

"A fox!?"

Seeing Master Fox emerge, the Forest Musk Deer's nostrils, which were constantly twitching and sniffing the air, paused in surprise. But when it saw that fox raising the metal hammer, it suddenly realized what was happening, its face turning ferocious.

In the position akin to a human navel on its stomach, there was a bulging pouch. As the Forest Musk Deer's emotions intensified, the pouch opened.

The Forest Musk Deer began to take deep breaths, with air streaming through its chest as if brewing something, releasing a five-colored airflow with a strange fragrance from its pouch that sprayed onto the ground, spreading evenly into the surrounding air.

"Do you know..."

"What is on my face?"

Master Fox looked at the Forest Musk Deer, which wasn't even as big as its own hammer, raised its hand, pointed to the gas mask on its cheek, and said:

"An individual combat protection device, effectively preventing toxic gas, dust, bacteria, and poisonous vapors from entering my nose. You still don't get it?"

Master Fox's raised shock-absorbing hammer was exactly modeled after a large safe.

1.8 meters high, 1.2 meters wide, 0.9 meters deep, weighing over a ton by a few hundred pounds.

Faced with creatures like the Fungal Parasitic Beast and Golden Leopard, Ansheng could swing it without hesitation, but the Forest Musk Deer in front of it was really too small, just a bit larger than an adult Husky, and its bones clearly weren't very durable either.

Ansheng worried that if he struck down with the hammer, Wang Qiqi would soon have to sweep up the pieces in the forest.

"Screw your protection!"

The Forest Musk Deer cursed and ran away, yet its abdominal pouch continued to emit its fragrance.

Provoking predators and using its agile and swift movements to leap through the treetops was its strategy, waiting for the predator to be enveloped in the enchanting fragrance, becoming the critical moment for its one-hit-kill.

"Huh!?"

Master Fox initially just intended to grab its musk and go home, but was unexpectedly stunned.

"Damn it? For a grass-eater, you have quite a foul mouth, don't you?"

Ansheng the fox was shocked, unable to fathom how a vegetarian could say such vicious words, and Master Fox's face turned dark after he came back to his senses.

Master Fox swung his large hammer with both arms, taking a golf-like stance, and struck the tree trunk heavily.

Under the power of a Fierce Beast, the area around the giant hammer looked as though it was coated with a layer of blades. When the giant hammer struck the tree trunk, it did not shatter the trunk.

Instead, a section of the trunk, as if sliced by a Divine Weapon, slightly twisted and bent under the hammer's force before shooting into the forest and mountain.

"Boom——"

The Forest Musk Deer had just leapt off the tree trunk when a section of seemingly residual wooden log smashed into that tree.

After a booming crash, the fractured log forcibly snapped the large tree like a blade.

The log also turned into woody fibers scattered in the air.

"???"

Witnessing this, the Forest Musk Deer was utterly shocked, never expecting that those short legs had such capability.

"Bang——"

Another sound of collision resounded, and another fractured log shot out from the woods, hitting close to the Forest Musk Deer.

The broken log, grazing past the earth, left a shallow trench manifesting on the ground.

And the weeds grazed by the log couldn't withstand such a terrifying force, instantly bursting into pieces, with shrub and weed sap splattering on the Forest Musk Deer's face, seemingly narrating some brutal story.

The icy cold sap fell on the Forest Musk Deer's cheek, giving a warm feeling as if it had exuded it itself, scaring it so much that its legs turned weak.

"Boom——"

"Boom——"

One section after another, fractured woods and rocks severely struck around the Forest Musk Deer and within the forest and mountain. The Forest Musk Deer's wish to infuriate Master Fox came true, yet it didn't anticipate that, after being angered, the short legs it perceived would transform into a mortar position.

Each high-speed object emerging from the dark forest brought severe injury, or worse, potential fatality.

The Forest Musk Deer could run many times, but it only needed to be grazed by any one of those high-velocity projectiles to perish on the spot.

"Woof woof woof——"

Realizing its situation, the Forest Musk Deer, terrified but braving itself, charged at high speed towards the coal mine, possibly because something there mattered more than its life.

Under the illumination of the helicopter's searchlights, Master Fox didn't even need to aim; wherever the light pointed, the objects struck by the giant hammer heavily hit.

The Forest Musk Deer fled at full speed, and the forest ground behind it would crumble and collapse as it passed, with sand and shattered stones shooting upward, heavily striking its rear.

"Bang——"

A stone shot out from the forest, colliding with the massive rocks piled around the coal mining site.

The stone, upon impact, burst into deadly shrapnel scattering in all directions.

Leaping from the stone thinking the disaster narrowly missed, the Forest Musk Deer suddenly felt excruciating pain in its behind, contorting its face and losing its jumping posture, tumbling to the ground.

A shrapnel, in its sudden breakage, slipped and ricocheted, heavily striking the Forest Musk Deer's bell.

Unable to maintain its elegant posture, it rolled down the open-air coal mine.

When it realized what happened, the searchlight once again focused on it.

Master Fox stood atop the coal mountain, wearing what seemed like a mask, his fox eyes twinkling, holding a giant hammer while gazing at the pit-raised Forest Musk Deer.

"Now!"

"I advise you to be kind, or else if I slam down from up here, you'll be scattered across the mining site."

"Woof....."

The Forest Musk Deer, having lost its conquest dreams, lay on the ground, feigning death, unwilling to speak.

"Master Fox, the Forest Musk Deer's direction of escape seems to have a specific target."

With everything settled and watching Master Fox, Wang Qiqi, descending swiftly via ziplines, spoke.
