How could she possibly fall for such a frivolous man? Her grandmother had suffered a lot with her grandfather, a stubborn old man, and she certainly didn't want to find another childish man for herself!

Her man had to stand tall and proud, mature enough, capable of handling things on his own!

Most importantly, he had to be romantic and know how to cherish her!

Mo Yuqi didn't find even a trace of these qualities in Qin Yu!

"Is it strange to investigate someone who could potentially be my man?" Mo Yuqi glanced indifferently at Qin Yu.

"Not strange, not strange at all." Qin Yu gently shook his head, surprised that Qiqi, this little girl, was so tough!

Seeing Qin Yu's frivolous demeanor, Mo Yuqi could hardly contain her frustration!

She said sternly, "Get ready, at the shareholders' meeting later, you had better not embarrass me. I seldom give people chances, so I hope you can grasp this one."

Qin Yu smiled again, staring intently into Mo Yuqi's eyes, "Qiqi, you still say you don't care about me, are you afraid I'll disappoint you?

Don't worry, how could your man disappoint you?"

"Smooth talker!"

Mo Yuqi turned her face away, feeling very off today! Wasn't she usually indifferent to everything? Why did she feel so peculiar about Qin Yu?

Could it be that she truly hoped Qin Yu would pass her test smoothly?

Mo Yuqi, somewhat agitated, stood up and walked towards the floor-to-ceiling windows. Her shadow stretched long under the sunlight.

This was the first time Mo Yuqi couldn't understand her own feelings!

What did she truly want?

Didn't she dislike Qin Yu immensely? Why was she expecting Qin Yu to surprise her?

And, what was with the festive outfit she was wearing? Was she really going to get engaged to this man? How could she remember nothing?

Just as Mo Yuqi stood bewildered and helpless, the office door was pushed open, and Diana's voice came through.

"Mr. Mo, the computer for Mr. Qin is all set up. There are five minutes left before the board meeting starts, do you need me to stay for the minutes?"

"Yes."

Mo Yuqi nodded without hesitation. She didn't want to face Qin Yu alone or rather, she didn't know how to face him!

"Understood!"

Diana glanced around before walking directly to the coffee table, where she placed the computer, logged in to an account for Qin Yu, and connected to the video conference call.

"Mr. Qin, your computer is ready."

"Thank you." Qin Yu nodded at Diana, then walked over to the seating area and sat down on the sofa. Qin Yu's image appeared on the computer.

After sitting down, Mo Yuqi then returned to her desk, where she logged into her account and joined the video conference call.

As soon as Mo Yuqi appeared, people in the video conference greeted her.

"Hello, Mr. Mo."

"Mr. Mo, is there something urgent to discuss that required calling a sudden board meeting?"

Mo Yuqi replied calmly, "It's regarding the acquisition of Dongxing Electronics Factory."

"Mr. Mo, who is the person using Diana's account? He looks quite unfamiliar." A shareholder looked skeptically at Qin Yu's image on the computer screen.

Mo Yuqi introduced formally, "This is Mr. Qin, a new shareholder in our company, owning two percent of the Emperor Group's shares, and currently the Deputy CEO of Su Group.

Mr. Qin is currently in charge of the acquisition of Dongxing Electronics Factory."
