The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 432: We're Not the Same

Lin Tian didn't wait for the five people's response and left his phone number before heading back to the villa.

Whenever he had time, Lin Tian would think about cultivating. Although his training was intermittent, he still made progress. He was still some distance from becoming an intermediate martial artist, but at this rate, it wouldn't take too long. After all, the cultivation techniques in the Tyrant Emperor's Record were extraordinary.

When Lin Tian walked into the living room, he immediately saw several large shopping bags on the sofa. These were all the things he and Liou Qingcheng bought while shopping in the afternoon.

Lin Tian changed his shoes, walked over, and noticed a small box on the table with a sticky note underneath it.

"You snuck away and left me to carry all these things back by myself, and my hands almost broke. You better make it up to me with some good massages in the future. Also, the couple's ring I bought is in the box on the table. Wear it on your middle finger and don't forget."

Looking at those elegant small characters, he couldn't help but feel a warmth in his heart.

Lin Tian put down the note and opened the box to find a very exquisite platinum ring with a line of small English words engraved on it.

Wearing it on his middle finger, it fit perfectly—not too tight, not too loose.

He looked at it contentedly for a couple of seconds before taking a photo and sending it to Liou Qingcheng.

Afterward, Lin Tian put away all the big and small boxes and went back to his room to cultivate.

Tyrant Emperor's Record is divided into two volumes. The first volume focuses on Spiritual Qi, while the second one is about elixir making and acupuncture.

Whether it's Spiritual Qi or elixir making and acupuncture, these are very complex and meticulous tasks. But the Tyrant Emperor's Record simplifies them, and with Lin Tian's exceptional physique, mastering these tasks has become much easier.

Although many things have been simplified, they are still very detailed. For example, the first volume is divided into the Spiritual Qi Chapter and the Golden Elixir Chapter. As for the latter chapters, Lin Tian is yet to know, because he tried several times but couldn't reach that realm to access the subsequent contents.

He is currently a lower-level martial artist, and his current focus is the Spiritual Qi Chapter, while the Golden Elixir Chapter is his next big phase.

Why can he access the Golden Elixir Chapter's contents?

Probably because Lin Tian already has a fully-formed Golden Core within him. Of course, this was left to Lin Tian by that mysterious senior. Lin Tian cannot use that Golden Core at the moment. It can only float in his Sea of Qi, but training with Spiritual Qi to scour that Golden Core makes his efforts much more effective.

Previously, when Lin Tian cultivated, he just followed the methods in the Spiritual Qi Chapter, opening up all his body's pores to absorb Spiritual Qi from the heavens and earth, then gradually refining it.

This is the first lesson of the Spiritual Qi Chapter—introducing Qi into the body.

Previously, Lin Tian could only do this, and when the Spiritual Qi inside him reached a certain level, qualitative changes would occur.

Spiritual Qi, the most mysterious gas in the world. When its density reaches a certain level, it transforms from a gas into a solid.

Spiritual Qi doesn't have a liquid state, and even when condensed into solid form, it remains invisible and shapeless.

When Lin Tian becomes sufficiently powerful, he will be able to condense blades in his hands, though they will be invisible. It is certain that they will be far sharper than the Black Dragon Dagger.

Achieving that level is extremely difficult. For example, Lin Tian currently can only compress all the Spiritual Qi in his Sea of Qi to an extreme, resulting in merely two strands of solid Spiritual Qi. This achievement is only possible due to the Tyrant Emperor's Record; ordinary cultivation techniques cannot produce such miraculous effects.

These two solidified strands of Spiritual Qi cannot form weapons; their only role is to scour the Eight Extraordinary Meridians.

This isn't an easy task. During his previous training, Lin Tian used Spiritual Qi to scour without opening up a single meridian, only opening a few acupoints.

Solidified Spiritual Qi is different; its force and effectiveness are increased greatly, being three times more effective than ordinary Spiritual Qi.

At this speed, the first meridian can be opened within a few days, and once all the meridians are opened, Lin Tian will become a high-level martial artist.

The entire night, Lin Tian was scouring his meridians, only opening a few acupoints, but it was much faster compared to before.

In the past, after a night's cultivation, Lin Tian was full of vigor except for being hungry. But today was different; scouring the meridians was exhausting. It left him depleted, with an empty Sea of Qi except for the Golden Core, even making his face look pallid.

"If only I had some elixirs on hand, I wouldn't be in such dire straits," Lin Tian murmured to himself. If he had enough elixirs, he would have opened up that entire meridian last night.

He sighed, shakily stood up, and went to the kitchen to eat some food. Then he sat back down, opened up his pores again, and started introducing Qi into his body once more.

Even though sleeping can replenish energy, Spiritual Qi is much faster in doing so, so Lin Tian naturally chose the latter.

After a long while, his Sea of Qi was once again filled with Spiritual Qi, even more robust than the day before.

This was all thanks to the few acupoints he had opened yesterday, the huge improvement making Lin Tian grin foolishly.

In the afternoon, after having lunch, Lin Tian returned to the dormitory.

With military training finished, it was time for classes to begin. The school didn't give students any extra time to rest—after a week of military training, classes started right away.

Lin Tian didn't come to pick up books in the morning, but when Zhao Xuefeng said there would be a class meeting in the afternoon, he came.

In the dormitory, Li was reading, Meng Nan was playing games, and to Lin Tian's surprise, Wang Sicong also showed up, sitting on the bed and engrossed in his phone.

Seeing Lin Tian, Wang Sicong greeted him and then asked, "I heard you hooked up with Liou Qingcheng?"

Lin Tian laughed and waved the couple's ring in his hand, saying, "It's more like she hooked up with me."

"Ah," Wang Sicong sighed wistfully.

"What's up?" Lin Tian asked.

Li put down his book and said, "He's on the prowl for a romantic target—fell for Qingcheng at first sight. We told him you got to Qingcheng first, but he didn't believe us. Now that you're here, he's completely crushed."

Lin Tian chuckled helplessly: "Third brother, do you even need to be on the hunt? Those beauties should be fighting to get into your arms."

Wang Sicong put down his phone dejectedly, saying, "You don't understand, it's boring when those girls are constantly throwing themselves at you. There's no thrill."

This comment was disheartening to everyone, especially Meng Nan, who was the type to throw himself into others' arms, but unfortunately, Sisi didn't pay him any heed.

Wang Sicong took a deep breath as if making a significant decision and proclaimed, "From today onwards, I'm not wearing branded clothes anymore. I'm going to pose as a regular guy and win over a goddess! Just like second brother."

Lin Tian hurriedly gestured, "No, no, no, we're not the same. I'm not a regular guy."

Meng Nan put down his mouse to ask, "Then who's your target?"

"Of course, it's Jian Yan, who ranks second. Don't you think we're a perfect match?"

The three of them said in unison, "Pfft!"
