The accompanying young monk led Lu Ren into the Foot Sheep Farm, even with a temperament hardened to the utmost, one could say unmoved by a collapsing mountain, unbothered by falling comets.

It was extremely close to the Eight Unmoving Directions Uncertain Vajra.

Yet, seeing the scene inside, Lu Ren could not hold his color, an extreme rage erupted instantly within his heart.

Even behind his head, a wisp of flame emerged, possessing extreme Power of True Law spreading out.

Buddha's Wrathful Fire can burn everything deemed as demons and ghosts.

What was before his eyes was a row after row, with intervals of up to sixteen floors, all fenced with fine steel railings, and inside were snowy white humans.

These people had not a single hair, wore not a single piece of clothing, but their bodies appeared exceptionally fine.

The body fat percentages of both males and females were maintained at a remarkably healthy level.

Yet these males and females had eyes devoid of any light, each seemed like an imbecile, allowing the monks at the side to manipulate them at will, eating liquid food from troughs when hungry, drinking from the flowing water when thirsty, finding a random place to crouch when they wanted to excrete.

The monk beside Lu Ren was startled by his demeanor, the terrifying aura emitted from him made his heart tremble, as if witnessing a divine being awakening, about to erupt like a volcano.

But in the next moment, this aura disappeared without a trace, the lesser skilled monk only thought that Lu Ren was seeing the farm for the first time, adjusted his mood, and said with a smile.

"Rest assured, Buddha's Son, the No. 1 Foot Sheep Farm meticulously selects and raises from a young age, and after special cultivation, these foot sheep have a very short growth period, needing only a mere three to five years to mature to this stage, and each can produce at least five offspring at a time."

Walking along the way, Lu Ren quietly glanced around at the men and women within the railings, these people could no longer be called human, still possessing the most basic awareness, knowing pain, fearing death, some completely submerged in mating, becoming the most pathetic breeding machines.

"These are only for consumption by monks with relatively low realm power."

Beside him, a young monk introduced: "As the power increases, these creatures, whose intelligence has degenerated into beasts, have no nutritional value left."

"Then how do you handle them?" Lu Ren's expression was indifferent, showing no identifiable emotions, just quietly observing everything in front of him.

"This involves the older brothers at the Agricultural Institute performing selective breeding."

The young monk, smelling the somewhat unpleasant odor in the air, smiled awkwardly and said: "My apologies, Buddha's Son, we have made several attempts to improve the feed, although these foot sheep's excretions don't have much odor, the sheer number results in some unusual smells."

Lu Ren did not respond, nor did he say much, he just quietly clenched his fists, wanting to hammer this calm, even a bit smug monk introducing the Foot Sheep Farm to death.

Though the other might have grown up in this environment, his worldview had been grotesquely reshaped, he naturally considers everything now to be right.

But to Lu Ren, it's unacceptable.

As they reached the upper levels, the 'humans' being raised became increasingly rare compared to the lower levels, yet correspondingly, the emotion in these people's eyes resembled those of newborn infants, curiously exploring everything.

As they saw Lu Ren walk by, they would all widen their eyes and carefully watch him.

As if curious of why Lu Ren's attire differed from the agricultural monks.

"These are the selected and bred pedigree, nearly half fetched from those planted below, generally pedigrees bred with pedigrees."

After all the introductions, reaching the top, Lu Ren saw the humans different from those below, those chained up showed bone-deep hatred as they saw Lu Ren pass by, yet clenched their teeth, saying nothing.

The young monk, seeing this, showed a trace of disgust, quickly clasped his hands and uttered a Tathagata, realizing he might have committed wrath, then began introducing.

"These were foot sheep that accidentally escaped, seemingly hiding underground, then some were recaptured, these foot sheep harbor great hostility towards us."

The young monk spoke with some trouble: "These guys are truly a never-ending nuisance, despite their short lifespan of merely twenty to thirty years, their breeding is tremendously strong due to selective breeding, turning into prolific underground mice, currently an immense string underground."

Lu Ren's face was calm, his gaze deep, no one could discern the extent of the rage buried within his eyes.

From birth until now, despite encountering countless events, this one, without a doubt, was the most unacceptable to Lu Ren.

Even though to the Beidou Emperor Star, he is only a passing traveler, but the fate of these fellow humans, turned into livestock by powerful beings, was unacceptable.

He forcibly stifled his rage, walking out of the 'Foot Sheep Farm' with the young monk.

Even though outside the warm sun shone, he felt no warmth, instead an unimaginable frigidity spread through his body.

Taking a deep breath, Lu Ren slightly alleviated the oppression in his heart, then looked up, staring at the Shakyamuni Buddha Statue atop Mani Temple Mountain.

Shakyamuni, if you truly held compassion for all beings, saved suffering and viewed all life as equal, if you knew the monstrous deeds done by this sect in your name, what would you think?

But in Lu Ren's mind, burdened with malicious thoughts, he suspected if Shakyamuni looked back, he might have no opinion.

'Hey, all beings are equal.'

Lu Ren's eyes flickered with murderous intent, the waves surging in his heart.

...Not yet...

Lu Ren controlled his emotions, quietly ascending, returning to the meditation room prepared for him in Mani Temple.

After a day passed, the young monk curiously asked: "Buddha's Son, have you truly reached the stage of not needing meals?"

As he spoke, the young monk chewed on a pepper-scented hand eagerly.

Seeing this, Lu Ren almost couldn't help but slap it away.

Enduring for a few more days, hoping that Shakyamuni left behind something useful, otherwise, he would have to start killing one by one, gaining Skill Points, thus elevating his strength without reservation to extreme heights, acquiring the power to contend with Long Jia.

Lu Ren sealed his sense of smell, ignored him, and calmly stated: "I need to keep my flesh pure, subsisting on wind and dew rather than food is a better way to maintain my body functions."

This statement was indeed correct, after all, with the passive skills of Breathing and Exhaling Technique and the Red Dragon Inner Core, he had completely moved beyond relying on food for the basic need of survival.
