"Before everyone can start rushing towards the center, let me remind you that this ruin will open only after 5 months have passed, so coming here earlier won't give you any advantage other than the fact that it will work as a safe zone for you.
As for how far you are from the center depends on your cultivation realm. The farthest are peak-stage cultivators.
This is also an advantage for them, because they can encounter lots of ruins while coming towards the center.
Also, let me remind you one more thing out of goodwill.
Every single ruin has a test which those who are entering must clear. These tests were made keeping in mind of the early stage of Soul Sea realm cultivator for other ruins and mid-stage Soul Sea realm cultivators for the main ruin.
So it will be better to only explore them once you have reached the early stage of Soul Sea realm, or be prepared to die. I won't save anyone.
By the way, a small area around every ruin is a safe zone. So for those who are at lower realms, make your way to the nearby ruins or the main ruin if you don't want to die.
Good luck. I won't be communicating with you guys now..."
Lin Feng was Astonished hearing to that. It really was a very structured inheritance site. He wondered who this senior was. He must not be someone unknown, right?
One thing he was sure of was that this senior wasn't associated with the Crimson Flame Palace or the Yin Yang Harmony Sect.
Lin Feng turned around and looked towards the outer area where peak-stage Core Formation cultivators were.
Most of the disciples would go into seclusion to cultivate for reaching the Soul Sea realm. The real treasures were in the ruins, and no one who was at the peak stage wanted to waste time on spirit herbs which were Grade 3 or lower.
Lin Feng didn't have the intention of cultivating right now. All he wanted to do was find those cultivators from the Crimson Flame Palace and Yin Yang Harmony Sect who were trying to cultivate in peace.
There were some ways to create discord between both these two sects, that is, to target only one of these sects while leaving the other. He wasn't interested in that now.
For years, they had attacked the disciples of the Frozen Heart Sect. It was time for some payback.
...
As Lin Feng had predicted, most peak-stage disciples were finding good spots to cultivate. The outer area was filled with mountains, so they were able to find good locations with natural caves, or they dug out cave abodes according to their needs.
Given the spirit qi density, one or two days would be enough for most of them to advance. They just had to prepare themselves mentally.
Lin Feng kept moving away from the center, and in about 15 minutes, he reached the area where he could see a ruin. It was easily discernible.
It seemed to be a big old hall. He didn't stop to explore it and kept moving. He encountered another one after a few minutes. He ignored it similarly, and in one hour, he reached the area where a lot of mountains were present.
He had a feeling that this was the outer region where peak-stage disciples were sent.
Till now, he hadn't encountered any cultivator. It was obvious, given the fact he might be behind most of the late-stage cultivators and was moving towards the region where peak-stage disciples were.
Not a single late-stage cultivator would do that unless they had a death wish. In this treacherous world, you couldn't even trust your own sectmate whom you had known for a while, much less those who were strangers to you.
A place like an inheritance site, where killing someone wouldn't make you accountable, was a dream for many cultivators. Some just killed for fun if not for snatching treasures from you.
Lin Feng came a little down so that he didn't miss the caves of cultivators where they were cultivating.
If he had spiritual sense, then he would have been able to find them out easily, but reaching the Soul Sea realm wasn't possible for him in a few days, which would be enough for most of these cultivators to breakthrough.
He wasn't overly worried that he wouldn't be able to find anyone. If someone was cultivating, then they would absorb spirit qi. In this inheritance site, where spirit qi was visible like mist, he could easily see its flow, and right now, he was seeing one of such situations near him where the mist was slowly entering a small cave.
He smiled and came near the entrance of the cave. He didn't know who was inside the cave. If it was a cultivator who wasn't part of the Crimson Flame Palace and Yin Yang Harmony Sect, then he would just try to leave without saying anything.
But would this cultivator let him leave after coming inside? He doubted that. The fact that he was disturbing this cultivator while also being in the late stage of Core Formation realm was already a sin.
If the situation came to that, he wouldn't mind some more blood on his hands.
When he came inside, he found out that this was a naturally formed cave instead of a newly created one. Because of this, it was deeper.
After he walked for a few breaths, he came across the cultivator he was looking for, and it wasn't someone whom he was expecting to be.
The chance of encountering a cultivator from those two sects was quite high, given the number of cultivators who were present in the whole inheritance realm. So , he was a little hopeful about finding them on the first try, but it seemed he had to be disappointed.
The cultivator in front of him was a woman dressed in purple robes. She looked quite graceful.
He didn't know which region she was from, but the deathly glare in her eyes made it clear that she wasn't pleased at all with him for invading her temporary cave abode.
