Cultivating with Bragging System

Chapter 190: The Advent of the Holy Medicine! Dragon Transformation Grass! (6300 words)_3

Countless calamities erupted, exterminating all living beings within the Annihilation Formation. In just a brief moment, three Fierce Beasts were executed without a sliver of room to struggle.

A young prodigy floated down, observed the scene, and shouted toward a certain direction, "Senior Brother, they're all dead!"

"Dispose of them!"

Up in a tree, Zhuge Changsheng leaned against the trunk, toying with a Jade Flute. His expression was calm, as if slaying three peerless Fierce Beasts by himself was a commonplace affair.

Hearing his command, the disciples of the Shan Hai Cave Heaven moved forward to deal with the Fierce Beasts.

From the shadows, countless hidden eyes watched this scene, shivering with terror.

"The third-ranked on the Golden Core Ranking truly lives up to his reputation!"

"They say that once the Saint Heir of Shan Hai sets up his formation, he becomes invincible. Even if he faced Li Xuanqi, the top of the Golden Core Ranking, he might not lose!"

"The Way of Formations has always been about the weak overcoming the strong. It may seem like it's one's own power, but in reality, it leverages the mighty forces of heaven and earth. It can't be measured by common sense."

"Incredible!"

...

Zhuge Changsheng turned a deaf ear to the discussions in the dark. He slowly stood up and stretched languidly, planning to lead his junior brothers deeper into the dense forest.

Just then, a fluctuation rippled out from the distant horizon, and he sensed it.

Zhuge Changsheng's body trembled as he stared in disbelief.

Puzzled, the others asked, "What's wrong, Senior Brother?"

Zhuge Changsheng said gravely, "An unparalleled formation has appeared!"

The fluctuation was extremely faint. If not for Zhuge Changsheng's incredibly keen senses for formations, he might have mistaken it for an ordinary breeze.

Upon hearing this, the disciples around him couldn't help but laugh. "Senior Brother, you must be joking. Among the younger generation across all One Hundred and Eight Immortal Sects, whose skill in formations could possibly compare to yours?"

Zhuge Changsheng did not speak, still immersed in shock.

That aura, though faint, is utterly terrifying. There can only be two possibilities. Either it's a Natural Ancient Formation passed down from antiquity, capable of borrowing the might of an entire world—its power would be unimaginable. Or, someone with truly exceptional skill in formations has laid down this overwhelming array.

He was reluctant to believe it was the latter.

That would require someone to have cultivated an incredibly powerful formation to the point of perfection. If such a grandmaster of formations were an elder from the Holy Realm, that would be one thing, but if it were a young prodigy...

He dared not continue that line of thought.

But... the probability of the first option is even more remote! Such Natural Ancient Formations are not easily encountered. If hidden, they blend seamlessly with heaven and earth. Even a grandmaster who achieved the Dao through formations would struggle to spot any signs, passing by without ever knowing. One might not appear for thousands of years. No, I have to go see for myself, no matter what!

Zhuge Changsheng stepped into the air and sped away. His speed was astonishing, crossing a hundred miles in the blink of an eye. The rest of the disciples hurried to follow.

「Elsewhere」

Two figures were locked in battle.

One was a massive Flood Dragon. Its body stretched for hundreds of meters, and when it reared up, it reached the clouds—a truly terrifying sight. Horns were faintly visible on its head, from which Thunder crackled and surged downward, powerful enough to shatter mountains and split stone. With a single twist of its body, it shattered several mountain peaks.

Below it stood a child who looked to be seven or eight years old. He was barefoot, with two Meteor Hammers that looked even more solid than his small frame slung over his shoulders. The heads of the hammers were clearly forged from a special meteoric iron. Their entire bodies were crimson and incredibly heavy, seeming to burn with fierce flames. Even a slight swing caused the void to distort, a testament to their frightening weight.

In front of the giant Flood Dragon, the boy's stature was as tiny as an ant. The contrast was so stark and absurd it would seem laughable to any onlooker. But astonishingly, his aura was vast, like that of an ancient giant condensed into his tiny body. The Flood Dragon's eyes held not only ferocity but also a hint of fear. From this diminutive human, it sensed an unprecedented threat.

CRACK!

Qingzhou stomped his foot, shattering a barren mountain beneath him. He shot into the sky like a roc, crossing several mountain ridges in a single bound. Leaping into the clouds, he landed squarely on the Flood Dragon's head.

RUMBLE!

The force of that one stomp was unimaginably terrifying. It bent the Flood Dragon's upright body as if it were about to be snapped in two, threatening to drive the creature's head straight into the dust.

The Flood Dragon attempted to struggle. But Qingzhou swung a Meteor Hammer from his shoulder. It grew as it flew through the air, obscuring the sun as it smashed down on the Flood Dragon's head. Red light emanated from the hammerhead, shattering the void as if a mountain were crashing down.

It smashed the Flood Dragon's body to pieces, turning it into a rain of blood and flesh.

Qingzhou moved through the bloody rain, grabbed the Flood Dragon's heart, and swallowed it in a few gulps. Divine light circulated across his skin as his terrifying blood energy surged. A look of satisfaction slowly appeared on his face. "With a few more hearts of this caliber, I'm sure to reach new heights!"

RUMBLE!

Suddenly, a disturbance came from within the dense forest. The earth trembled and dust filled the sky as countless exotic beasts and Fierce Beasts charged from afar. They formed a terrifying beast tide, their eyes filled with panic as if they were fleeing for their lives.

Qingzhou frowned and looked in that direction. "What happened over there?"

He could feel that the source of the commotion was not far away.

I should go take a look.

...

Wang Xiu had already set up all the necessary formations and was now focusing on deciphering the Natural Ancient Formation before him.

This Ancient Formation was naturally formed and fundamentally different from those favored by human Array Masters. To an ordinary Array Master, many of its details would seem utterly illogical and impossibly arranged, yet somehow, they still combined to create a true formation.

The Great Dao has a myriad of paths; nothing is truly impossible.

To use a metaphor, the formations Wang Xiu was accustomed to were like finely-tuned works of craftsmanship, meticulously designed and logically sound. This one before him, however, was disorderly and chaotic, like a random doodle without any discernible pattern.
