Marvelous Mecha

Chapter 1450: Contact

The kings of each clan have completely fallen into despair, losing their former calmness, looking around anxiously: "Why haven't we received any news from the aid we sent out!"

"Escape this dimension, as far away as possible. Lower dimensions might hold no significance for them, and eventually, we will return."

"No, we can declare surrender to them, this is the only way to preserve the Prophets."

Indeed, this was not an evenly matched battle, it wasn't even a battle, but a massacre! Every Prophet Clan, big or small, was intensely debating the unavoidable crisis at hand.

Hours later, countless parallel universes had perished, and they finally made the decisive announcement, sending a universe-wide surrender declaration to the Wave Civilization.

Not long after the announcement was sent, countless light boxes ceased all attacks but did not leave.

The boxes quickly deciphered the Prophet's vocabulary and made a brief response, requesting a dialogue with the Prophet King.

In an instant, the Prophet King appeared directly in front of the palm-sized box...

Yes, the Prophet King was not mistaken; it was this seemingly palm-sized box that almost annihilated their civilization.

Suddenly, a halo of light emanated from the box, illuminating the Prophet King.

The Prophet King felt his mind go blank, and his body visibly shrank rapidly until it completely disappeared...

He didn't really disappear, but instead, found himself in a brand-new spacetime; in the blink of an eye, the Prophet King's consciousness appeared inside what looked like an enormous light container.

Looking up, he witnessed a shocking scene; the once-small Wave Civilization was now showing their original form in the Thirteenth Dimension.

Indeed! He hadn't shrunk; with the change in consciousness and dimension, he now truly saw the real spiritual structure of the Wave Civilization, which was overwhelmingly vast.

Before the Prophet King could sense anything unusual, his consciousness returned to where it originally belonged...

The message the Prophet King received was very brief; the other party did not accept the Prophet Civilization's surrender declaration.

"Why is this?" Back in the clan, the Prophet King voiced a question even he couldn't understand.

A wise man said, "I think they've collected your memories; please observe the actions of the Box Civilization closely."

Through careful observation, the Prophet Civilization discovered that although the boxes did not attack them, they forcibly opened a lower dimension, specifically the Sixth Dimension...

"What, what do they intend to do!?"

"Great King, for us, this might not be an opportunity."

The wise man's logic was clear and firm, asserting that if they had truly observed memories of the Prophet Civilization, then they must have observed Mo Ying's memories, and even those of the Observer. They encountered an existence far more terrifying than the Prophet Civilization, namely the Observer.

Therefore, it was only natural that the Box Civilization would cease their attack on the Ninth Dimension and target that existence.

"As a higher civilization of the universe, we do not allow an entity stronger than ourselves to appear, let alone threaten us; how about the Box Civilization?" The wise man daringly guessed: "When we declared surrender, the boxes did not continue to attack. If I'm correct, they must have analyzed our civilization's stage through the collected memories, leading to such calculations."

"Calculations..." Only then did the Prophet King realize the crux of the problem: "You mean, the Boxes can't constrain our development, even if we declare surrender; our existence still poses a threat to them."

"Great King, you are right. I think the biggest loophole of the Box Civilization is that they have no idea what the Observer signifies; otherwise, they would hide as far away as possible."

"Indeed, the will of that existence is the consciousness of the universe." The Prophet King neither confirmed nor denied this statement, and now, apart from awaiting their destined fate, there was nothing they could do.

In the distant Six-Dimensional spacetime, the box appeared out of thin air, its size diminutive, even smaller than when it was in the Ninth Dimensional spacetime, yet it temporarily emitted extraordinarily brilliant light, nearly rivaling that of a star in intensity.

Until the light dimmed, the box then began searching across the universe for the recently gathered memories...

This expanse of spacetime was indeed narrow, yet relatively narrow, as visible at the end of the universe is endless; therefore, finding a needle in this cosmic haystack is by no means easy.

Fortunately, not long after arriving, the Wave Civilization sensed gravitational wave radiation from an infinitely distant place.

Following the clues deeply, during this seemingly endless but short journey of several hours, they traversed 13 quantum waves of a distant star sea, arriving before numerous machines.

This time, however, the boxes didn't destroy the machines; instead, they sent them into the Zero Cone Line, while gathering intelligence on the Observer!

Ultimately, to no avail, because among these machines, only one had ever conversed with the Observer. That being, known as the Observer, vanished like that, and for the safety of the machine, it chose to escape instantly, to an unknown place.

Fortunately, through residual physical sensations, traces could still be found in the surrounding environment, revealing Mo Ying.

After all, it was just a low-level entity from the Sixth Dimension, with excessively special particles.

The machines were essentially certain that Mo Ying was a full two quantum waves away from them, which puzzled them, for why had this entity moved so far away? It could be said that the radiation distance of a single quantum wave already reaches the visible universe's end; in other words, similar to quantum mechanical teleportation technology, at most, it could only shift by the length of one quantum wave.

Thus, the Wave Civilization roughly conceived three possibilities. First, this narrow sub-universe is elliptical.

Second, a low-tier civilization might still create technology they do not understand.

Third, it might just be that so-called Observer.

After continuous maneuvering, the box finally reached the edge of the Ink Star. Before Mo Ying realized the imminent crisis, it completely lost consciousness... disconnected from the last ties to this world, unable to wake up.

Because Mo Ying's memories led the box to an uncertain possibility, the Observer truly exceeded their comprehension; they had never even heard of such an existence.

Being in the Thirteenth Dimension, spiritual consciousness already lacked comprehensive and thorough understanding of physical structures, thus unable to deduce the Observer's existence. They even discovered that this Observer was the one who destroyed the box a while back; the data last transmitted by the box showed structures extremely similar to one another.

However, upon realizing that this existence could also die and vanish, the Wave Civilization had no hesitation, directly deploying their strongest trump card, the Dual Law Sequence, the highest law the boxes held.

Of course, their goal was not to destroy this universe but to connect with higher dimensions.

In other words, the 12 Dimensions have already reached their physical tolerance limit. The Thirteenth Dimension almost has no material, whereas the Fourteenth Dimension; they are also unclear about its existence. Even a spiritual structure struggles to withstand the space compression of the Fourteenth Dimension.
