Honestly I couldn't be happier to have the new clothes that I have now, it goes perfectly with this jack-o'-lantern that I made. I didn't really think we'd get a chance to celebrate Halloween but here we are.

Looking in the mirror I could definitely tell that the glow effect on the jack-o'-lantern works, my horns fit through the holes, and I think everything else is good.

So I walk out of the room to see what Ghost and Lilly have come up with since they wanted to celebrate this occasion. Upon reaching the living room I am met with both of their costumes.

Lilly seems to have come to the conclusion of being a mummy for Halloween while Ghost is dressed up like some killer. Pretty cool how she has those blade fingers and the red and green sweater.

The girls definitely have quite the costumes for this occasion but I don't know if we are doing anything crazy.

"Rokurooooo!!!! I see you have decided to put a pumpkin on your head." Lilly shouts with excitement.

"The headless horseman has always been a favorite of mine." I reply back with a bit of joy in my voice.

"I think everyone has awesome costumes for Halloween." Ghost chimes in with a smile.

She is definitely looking even cuter with that little hat on her head, I can't believe everyone got good costumes for this. I don't think it is anything crazy since most people haven't thought about the holidays in a long time.

"Oh yeah, Akina already left but she said that Velgrade is having a party." Lilly speaks with even more excitement.

Velgrade having a Halloween party is definitely quite surprising since Ashvalis has been full of problems in the past year. I guess this will be a way for everyone to calm down a bit to enjoy a nice holiday.

Unexpected surprises aren't always the worse thing in the world.

"We should head on over there then." I say with a bit of a casual tone to my voice.

"Yes! Let's go!" Both Lilly and Ghost respond with excitement.

So we start to make our way towards Ashvalis since their is a Halloween party going on at Velgrade. It definitely felt like halloween with the vibes all around us.

I could even see decorations on some of the buildings ahead so people were trying to celebrate holidays again.

Lots of different costumes along the way until we reached Velgrade itself. The guild building was decorated with all sorts of spooky stuff to match the vibe for Halloween.

"Argggg. Another hunter has come for the party." A man said at the door.

Clearly wearing a pirate costume, I kind of just shook my head in disappointment before heading inside.

Upon entering the guild hall I could see it was actually pretty packed with people wearing costumes all over the place. Ghosts, ghouls, pirates, skeletons, everything that you would see as a kid on Halloween.

"Wow! I'm kind of happy we get to be here." Lilly said before clapping her hands.

"Hey you made it. I knew you wouldn't ignore the idea of a party." Akina speaks up as she stands before me with a smile on her face.

She seems to have gone with a witch costume for Halloween so that's nice, it suits her quite well. Not far behind her I could also see that asshole Lukas wearing his costume as well.

Looks like he went for the zombie look.

"I'm not a huge party person but it is nice to come out and see everyone celebrating." I reply with a bit of a happy tone.

I mean I can't really show a happy expression since the jack-o'-lantern is on my face. It definitely suits me quite well for Halloween but I wonder if there will be others here.

I'm not sure who else would make an appearance at a Halloween party like this but you never know.

There's lots of interesting people around here that aren't very far. But it is odd that I haven't seen Velia or Mari yet. I'm wondering if either of them care to celebrate Halloween or if they are just hiding out at home.

I didn't really think about it at first but I guess not everyone likes the spooky times.

"Where's Mari and Velia?" Ghost asks while looking at Akina.

"They are here somewhere, I just don't know where. Both of them just like to linger without talking much." Akina answers while taking a few glances around.

So they are here after all, that's good. I wouldn't want anyone to feel left out while we are all doing something.

"Well I'm going to take a walk around, I'll see you all again shortly." I say before heading away from the girls.

No voices in the head, no reasons to fight today, just a good old Halloween party. This is definitely a nice change of scenery for once in awhile.

Gives me a much needed break away from the world of chaos that I live in all the time.

I could've sworn I was still in the middle of handling a tower floor though, or maybe I finished and woke up in the junkyard. Everything is still kind of fuzzy in that regard.

"Hey, I recognize you. Well I can recognize the new outfit. I saw you wearing it when you first got back. Seems you have been working hard." Lukas says from behind me.

I turn around to face him, even though he pisses me off most of the time. "I have to work hard, only way to survive in this world of ours." I reply with a calm tone.

"Probably still nowhere near as strong as me but that's okay, I'm always happy to help you out." Lukas says with a cocky tone.

Precisely while it is hard for anyone to like him. That whole cocky attitude of his gets old real quick but I can ignore it since this is a holiday after all.

Especially when we don't always get the opportunity to enjoy these things.

I'll happily take whatever I can get.

"Thanks Lukas. I think I'm doing just fine though. Anyone else come here? Like from the other guilds?" I question with a bit of curiosity.

That reminds me, what about Aria? I didn't see her at home so she should be here already then. I'll definitely have to look for them so I can see what they chose to wear as well.

"Nah, the other guys from those guilds don't really come out this far. They do have their own things going on there anyway." Lukas answers while putting his arms back behind his head.

He walked off after answering that, almost like it was something that bothers him. It didn't really mean much to me though since I was hoping it would be a chance to see Lucien.

Lucien is a pretty good guy so far... Even if he seems odd at times. I don't really know if there's anything bad to him or not since our conversations haven't always been long.

It usually just turns into me doing some sort of quest for him so that I get something good in return. Usually it has done quite well for me to take on his quests directly.

It gave us a chance to deal with those watchers as they called themselves. Even if we didn't kill them, they should leave everyone around Nyxhaven alone.

"Boo!" A familiar voice shouts from behind me.

I wasn't scared but I did try to act like it just to go with the vibe. Turning around I could see a ghost with a feminine like figure.

"You got me. I like the costume." I say with a casual tone.

"It's me Aria. I thought about Ghost's name and then realized I could be a real ghost!" Aria replies with excitement.

Of course Aria would be a ghost, I didn't really think of that in all honesty. It kind of gives me an idea of what Velia and Mari probably are.

Velia seems like she would be an assassin and Mari maybe a cheerleader? That would be my guess if I had any.

"Want to help me find Velia and Mari?" I ask with a curious tone.

"Yes. That sounds like a fun time" Aria responds with even more excitement noticeable in her voice.

"Alright let's go find them." I say before beginning to lead the way.

Like that we begin to look for Velia and Mari since they were the only two I haven't seen yet with their costumes. There was definitely a lot of pushing through the crowd to get through.

I really didn't expect there to be so many people here today. It is definitely a good thing but there's so many.

It makes it hard as hell to make our way around the whole hall, but they have to be here somewhere.

"We'll be hosting a party event shortly! I'll be announcing what it is in the next few minutes." A mysterious man shouts from the center of the hall.
