I Cook Limitlessly In a Fantasy World

Chapter 112: Zurdon's Malevolence (1/2)

"We are here, but how will we find him? There should be a better way to find him than just randomly flying around."

"Of course, I have an idea." Zurdon chuckled. "Based on his personality, we can simply invite him to us by… giving a chaotic invitation."

Zurdon's eyes glinted as he continued. "Since we are seven, go in pairs of two. I'll move alone. Your job is only one—go in different directions, find a big enough organization, and cause destruction in his name."

"Have fun spreading chaos, and that guy will soon be there. Once anyone finds him, use the teleport bead to quickly gather there."

"Sounds good."

"Let's go."

Meanwhile, the Starion Blade Magic Tower vanished.

Their leaders died, their members scattered, and the grand tower that once stood is now gone. In its place, burning words were imprinted in the sky above the city:

[ Starion Blade Magic Tower hereby ceases to exist forever. ]

Ainen was already gone, on the way to finally complete the quest.

After all, it wasn't just about destroying Starion Blade, but also finding the last heir of the Ravenral clan of Lord Black in the Shadowhunt Valley.

Ainen was already in the valley as Lord Black told him where to go.

'From here, I can't help you. She has the artifact of our clan, which can make a small dimension in darkness. Shadowhunt Valley is the safest place for us who have a high affinity with Darkness, and pairing it with that artifact, it will be very hard to find her.'

Ainen smiled. 'Well, that's a must. How else could she remain safe otherwise?'

'You are already superior in comprehensive magic knowledge. Can you cook a way to find her?'

Ainen laughed. 'Do you think I can't?'

In the next second, Ainen's eyes glinted, and something started spreading out of him—thin, spread, and glossy. Glass, but like water, pristine and clear, yet reflective.

'Tell me, if she is hiding in a spot of darkness, what will happen if that darkness disappears? If that shadow ceases to exist?'

Lord Black was alarmed. 'Don't destroy this valley!'

'I am not going to destroy it.' Ainen wryly chuckled. 'There are other ways. For example, what if I spread Light in every single spot and corner of this valley and make sure not a single shadow remains on the surface?'

Lord Black was surprised. 'If you can do that, it will deactivate the artifact and she will emerge automatically.'

'Then that's what will happen.'

He raised his hand. 'Preparations are done.'

Something had spread to the entire valley. Something unique and new. An element that, once it entered something, could make that thing release light.

At first, it was a single spark—something purer, light that didn't burn, didn't flicker, didn't cast shadows.

It floated above his palm, humming like a star's heartbeat.

Then, he opened his fingers.

The spark expanded outward in concentric waves. Each pulse shimmered across the ground like a translucent tide, rolling through soil, stone, and air. The world began to breathe in light.

Rivers that once reflected nothing began to shimmer like molten silver.

The blackwood trees, their leaves absorbing all radiance for centuries, suddenly glowed from within—each vein of leaf turning crystal-bright.

The mountains, carved from ancient basalt, refracted with prismatic brilliance as if countless mirrors were buried within.

The sky itself brightened. Not from above, but from below, as the valley began to emit its own daylight.

And with every pulse, darkness retreated.

Where there had been shadows—beneath rocks, under trees, inside hollows—light filled them, erasing every corner, every recess, every whisper of gloom.

All the monsters of darkness in the valley panicked, and utter fear filled them. Even Emperor-rank monsters were frozen with fear due to Ainen's overpowered aura.

Lord Black's voice trembled, awe mixing with disbelief.

'You're turning the whole valley into a lamp.'

Ainen smiled faintly, eyes glowing with mirrored reflections of the radiant world he'd just created.

'And we found the last blood of your clan.'

A section of the illuminated air trembled, folding inward like rippling silk. From it emerged a patch of black, struggling against the all-consuming light.

The artifact of the Ravenral clan revealed itself—a tiny orb, swirling with condensed darkness, suspended in midair. The space around it fractured like glass, and from within stepped a figure cloaked in shadow, her pitch-black feathers catching the light and glowing as well.

She shielded her eyes from the utter brightness, but it was soon gone.

The state of the valley returned to normal in the next second.

When she opened her eyes, a person was standing before her, looking at her with a smile.

Startled, she quickly jumped back as her black wings unfolded and a dagger appeared in her right hand.

"Relax. I am not here to hurt you."

Ainen chuckled. In the next moment, a cloak of darkness whipped up over Ainen and soon shaped into a figure that the girl knew very well.

"C-Clan Master?"

"It's me." Lord Black's avatar nodded.

"Are you alive?!" She was overjoyed.

"Unfortunately, I am not. And this last vestige of mine is going to disappear very soon."

Ainen's eyes flashed with sadness. He asked the system if Lord Black could be revived, but the contract he had with the system was unavoidable.

He had to completely vanish and move on once this special quest was completed.

"Miria, I want you to follow Ainen. Trust him and do as he says. He is the most powerful being in this world. No one can hurt him, and he can make you strong faster."

'If possible, win his heart and bear his babies because it is inevitable that you will be attracted to him,' Lord Black privately said to Miria with telepathy, causing her to be stunned.

Ainen blinked. Seeing that she was stunned, he chuckled and said, "I don't mind one more resident in my growing world. Once you're in, you'll never want to leave."

His Cafe Bistro had evolved into the Star Gazing Restaurant since he cooked a lot of food and sold it in Starblade City after changing its name to Phoenix City.

He held a large feast and there was a lot of public, so he decided to use this opportunity to gather EXP for his Interdimensional Restaurant, thus upgrading it.

He now had a function in the restaurant to literally transport to different planets in this universe, and even higher realms, since he was now qualified due to being a peak Emperor-rank powerhouse.

Ainen didn't plan to stay much longer. After bidding farewell to people he knew, and destroying the Styxian Dynasty—

"It seems I am already disappearing." Lord Black smiled. "I am truly happy that you are alive and well, Miria. None of us is truly dead as long as our blood lives on, hahaha."

Miria's eyes teared up.

"Take care and get strong." Lord Black's avatar was barely visible now.

[ Special Quest Completed. ]

Ainen got the notification of quest completion, and the rune of Lord Black within him vanished.

"He's gone…" Ainen muttered and looked up, smiling. "Have fun in your next life."

Looking back at Miria, he gestured to her with welcome as a portal opened behind his hand. "Now then, would you like to go in and meet the family?"

Miria wiped her face and nodded. She walked toward Ainen and hugged him. "Thank you for letting me see him."

After separating, she smiled and said, "I will be in your care, Lord Ainen."

"Just call me Ainen." Ainen chuckled. "I'm more comfortable with that."

Ainen introduced Miria to others and then let them be while he continued his travel.

It was time to establish his overwhelming presence in the Styxian Dynasty and Sacred Aurelian, showing them the immense difference that existed between him and others, and wipe out the Styxian Royal Family.

But as he was flying back, he saw a large city engulfed with giant dark purple and dark green tentacles that further branched into countless small tentacles, spreading pure terror and torture to people in the city.

In the sky was a throne, on which a man with two curved horns and pale blue skin sat, faint scales shimmering on his bare upper body.

Ainen frowned. 'What the hell?'

The figure on the throne noticed him and was looking at him.

Ainen vanished and arrived right before him.

His eyes gleamed bright before countless motes spread across the city and entered the tentacles.

In the next moment, all tentacles started scattering into motes, which then fell onto people and healed all of them instantly.

Even those who were on the verge of dying were back to full life.

Broken bones mended, burned skin revived, shattered organs regenerated.

No matter what kind of injury one had, as long as their soul was here, and they were alive.

"What the fuck?" The man on the throne was dumbfounded as he watched this scenery. "This is a fucking mass resurrection!"

"What the fuck are you?!" The man looked at Ainen with a bewildered look. "Wait, I know who you are. Fuck."

'WHAT THE FUCK?!'

The man was shocked to his core.

He informed everyone.

"Why are you doing this?!" Ainen looked at the man with a darkened face.

A prison of ever-shifting geometric prisms trapped him in the next moment.

The man felt like he was about to die any second. It was like death was coming at him from all directions, and he was dying, but nothing was actually opening. However, he knew he was dead if this person in front of him just thought of it.

Pure fear filled his eyes as he looked at the translucent prism that trapped him. 'What kind of spell is this?!'

"Are you from Cradle?" Ainen's eyes narrowed as he caught the familiar symbol on the robe.

Suddenly, Ainen sensed several auras appearing around him.

The sound of clapping reverberated before a chuckle. "Amazing. Simply amazing! To be wielding this level of power, you are truly a genius beyond words."

Zurdon's grin split widely. "How fun it will be to see you drown in despair?"

Ainen turned around and looked at Zurdon, his eyes turning several degrees icier.

This guy was the one.

The one who turned Yelvina and Lilian into monsters.

"You are dead."

Zurdon grinned, his eyes holding pure malevolence.
