Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 415: Finalization And Moving On

Chapter 415: Finalization And Moving On

“Would she want you to bring her back?”

Upon hearing those words, Silas turned around, a massive frown on his face.

“That decision is not up to you,” Silas said.

“But is it really up to you?” Rael asked, stepping closer. “Think of it this way: if you manage to find a way to revive her, would her death mean anything to you? Would your life be the same as it was all those years ago?”

Of course, Rael was speaking from a position where he didn’t know anything, but even so, holding on to something for so long was both romantic and sad.

Silas sighed and waved Rael away. “You’ve given me this opportunity, and I wish to use it however I please. Respect that, or I shall rescind the kingdom I have given you.”

It was a casual ’fuck off,’ but in kinder words, so Rael decided not to ask Silas about his wife anymore.

If anything, the desire to bring his wife back might spark some newfound hope to live, and if that was the case, then Rael would be on his merry way.

After all, at the risk of sounding like a hypocrite, Rael would most likely look for any possible way to save his lover as well.

So with that, Rael flashed Silas one last nod, and without wasting a single moment, he left the Dream Realm.

<Ding!>

<You have successfully left the Dream Realm!>

<You have established a Dimensional Shop inside the target’s mind!>

<Setting: Regular Dimensional Shop>

“Setting?” Rael repeated as the familiar palace came into view.

There were a few soldiers running past him, yet those who realized who he was halted in place and pulled out their weapons, aiming them directly at him.

Rael sighed. “Give me a moment, boys, I’m a bit busy now.”

He glanced at the setting option and pressed on it.

<Setting>

<Regular Dimensional Shop: Sets up a basic Dimensional Shop Landmark inside the Dream Realm.>

<Prophetical Dimensional Shop: Sets up an invisible Prophetical Dimensional Shop inside the Dream Realm that gives the illusion of destiny. If the target’s ambitions reach a certain threshold, they will be automatically granted something they desire. The options may be tweaked significantly.>

<Other options are locked due to insufficient Dreaming capabilities.>

Huh… So I can literally place a Prophetical Dimensional Shop in anyone’s dreams and make them think they are the chosen ones?

Yep.

This was the thing Rael was looking for.

However, he also noticed a pattern.

Once again, I’m getting everything I need to start gaining Divinity. Just like before, almost as if someone was gearing me up.

He sighed, dropping that thought.

Rael was way too weak to walk down that path just yet.

But I’ll look into it once I get more Memory Fragments and I become a tad bit stronger.

After all, he not only had the 12 ’heroes’ to deal with, but also Solenne and her faction. It was just a blessing the 12 heroes weren’t as active, so he didn’t have to worry about them just yet.

Even so, Rael stretched his back and glanced around at the soldiers.

“Anyone want a grand speech?” Rael asked expectantly.

But instead, the soldiers charged at him, their weapons aiming for his vitals.

And, since Rael wanted to milk this kingdom for all it was worth, he needed the soldiers to be alive.

Therefore, with a single step, Rael vanished from sight, reappearing nearly 1,000 kilometers away, right beside a mountain range.

There wasn’t much more he could do in Aurenthia. Sure, he could have a chat with Theo or Tyrion Aurenthia, but they didn’t have much use to him now. They were pawns in the grand scheme of things, but they were also capable pawns.

He would chime in every now and again to check up on them, but for the most part, they were on their own, generating him money and keeping Aurenthia afloat.

Rael hummed in satisfaction, and since he hadn’t done it in a bit, he turned off his permanent rain cloud and checked out his stats.

Movement Speed is almost maxed out even without the rain cloud, not too shabby, Rael thought, his gaze traveling toward one stat in particular.

Fated One’s Willpower was a great stat, and frankly, it was the main thing that increased his Mind damage. However, it was also his lowest stat at the moment.

That was because, unlike the other stats, he couldn’t get Willpower from Gluttony. Of course, there were some exceptions, but the majority of the monsters wouldn’t give Willpower.

So the only way I can increase it at the moment is by absorbing negative emotions.

Therefore, he would need to find a new way to gain Willpower, but for the time being, he still had one more kingdom to check out.

Rael opened up the map and focused on the Unified Kingdom of Elmlot.

Its ruler was Malinalli Liesa, and she was just slightly weaker than Silas, at least class-wise.

Of course, the capital was Elmlot, and from what Rael could see, he was only a few dozen kilometers away from it, so he could arrive there in just a couple of seconds.

So with those thoughts in mind, Rael put aside the map and headed straight for Elmlot.
