Chapter 1863 - 1960: Martial Arts Supreme

Chapter 1863: Chapter 1960: Martial Arts Supreme

The umbrella holder let out a mocking snicker and said, "Your words are merely a test of my attitude. You, Mo Shouhe, know very well that even if we join forces, we can’t kill this new Martial Arts Supreme. It’s better to save your breath."

Mo Shouhe’s expression grew darker, and he stared at the umbrella holder, saying, "Do you really intend to stand on their side?"

The umbrella holder shook his head, "I don’t intend to stand on any side. I just want to live freely. You, Mo Shouhe, cannot control me, and he, Fang Qingye, cannot command me. I do whatever I want."

Upon hearing this, both Fang Qingye and Mo Shouhe’s expressions changed. Only Hou Yi, who had just become the Martial Arts Supreme, was bewildered, not knowing what these three were talking about.

"Don’t forget what your true identity is," Mo Shouhe said with a threatening tone, his eyes fixed intently on the umbrella holder.

The latter remained indifferent, appearing very calm, and said, "I’m different from you. You think only for the Ancient Spirit of Mountain Tu, while I think only for myself. Even if that day comes, I will still make the same choice."

Mo Shouhe repeatedly exclaimed "good," but it was evident from his expression that he was extremely angry. The person who should have been on his side was unwilling to be so, throwing Mo Shouhe, who was already in a tight spot, into a more passive position.

"Aren’t you guys annoyed with your endless chatter?" Hou Yi said somewhat impatiently. He wasn’t fond of these convoluted words and had been wanting to take action against the three for a long time. After all, having just become the Martial Arts Supreme, Hou Yi was eager to see the methods of other Martial Arts Supremes and to know just how powerful he had become.

"You want to fight? Then try this one. You should have heard of Mo Shouhe’s name, right? He’s quite formidable," the umbrella holder said cheerfully, pointing at Mo Shouhe and coaxing Hou Yi.

Upon hearing this, Hou Yi indeed turned his head to look at Mo Shouhe, filled with a battle spirit.

"The great name of Mo Martial Master, I have long admired. It’s not easy to meet Mo Martial Master, so I must learn from you," Hou Yi said casually. Although he addressed himself as a junior, his tone did not truly regard Mo Shouhe as a senior.

Mo Shouhe coldly gazed at Hou Yi, inwardly feeling disgusted. If the umbrella holder was willing to join forces with him, he would have been willing to fight Hou Yi to see if this new Human Clan Supreme stood at the same height as them.

But the umbrella holder showed no intention of joining forces and simply wanted to stay out of it and watch the show. Consequently, Mo Shouhe had no interest in taking on Hou Yi. Even if he could defeat Hou Yi, what difference would it make? As a fellow Martial Arts Supreme, Mo Shouhe couldn’t possibly kill Hou Yi.

The most crucial point was that Fang Qingye was watching from the side. If Fang Qingye and Hou Yi teamed up, wouldn’t Mo Shouhe have to face two Human Clan Supremes alone?

Dealing with one Martial Arts Supreme was already challenging enough, let alone two. Mo Shouhe even suspected that if he truly confronted these two, he might be worn down by them until death. After all, compared to Fang Qingye and Hou Yi, Mo Shouhe’s greatest Achilles’ heel was his limited lifespan and dwindling vitality.

Fang Qingye and Hou Yi were different. The former had become a Martial Lord just a few hundred years ago, while the latter had just become the Martial Arts Supreme. Their longevity and vitality far surpassed Mo Shouhe by countless times.

Seeing Mo Shouhe’s somber face, Hou Yi wouldn’t care whether or not he had any intention of acting. He immediately stepped towards Mo Shouhe.

As Hou Yi moved, his momentum surged like a tsunami, pressing directly toward Mo Shouhe, causing Mo Shouhe’s expression to change slightly. He hadn’t expected this new Human Clan Martial Lord’s aura to be this strong, completely dissipating the slight disdain within Mo Shouhe.

"Audacious!" Mo Shouhe shouted coldly, thoroughly provoked by Hou Yi’s aggressive approach, preparing to teach this new Human Clan Martial Lord a lesson.

Mo Shouhe, however, glanced at the nearby umbrella holder and Fang Qingye with a sidelong glance. Seeing that both appeared indifferent, Mo Shouhe felt a bit more at ease, at least since Fang Qingye had no intention of teaming up with Hou Yi for the time being.

"Mo Martial Master, I must be rude!" Hou Yi laughed loudly, not throwing a punch himself, yet a punch imprint appeared out of thin air, smashing directly toward Mo Shouhe.

This punch imprint appeared ordinary, but both Fang Qingye and the umbrella holder showed a hint of surprise. Mo Shouhe, bearing the brunt, was even more solemn, not daring to relax at all.

Mo Shouhe pointed out, and a black finger glow collided with the punch imprint, causing the heavens and earth to seem to shake for a moment. The finger glow pierced through the punch imprint and landed directly on Hou Yi. After being pierced, the punch imprint’s power wasn’t significantly weakened and also struck Mo Shouhe.

Both attacked without being able to block the other’s moves, each bearing the brunt of the other.

Hou Yi’s figure slightly shook, with a blood hole appearing in his chest, but it quickly healed as if nothing had happened, and Hou Yi himself seemed indifferent.

Mo Shouhe, on the other hand, took a step back; though not injured, in comparison, Hou Yi did not retreat, while Mo Shouhe was forced back a step by the punch imprint. This indicated that Hou Yi’s physique was even stronger than Mo Shouhe’s.

Fang Qingye and the umbrella holder could see that Hou Yi wasn’t giving his all, while Mo Shouhe was intentionally holding back, unwilling to expend too much energy on a meaningless clash.

However, much could be gleaned from this minimal contact. Though Hou Yi had just become the Martial Arts Supreme, his strength was no lesser than Mo Shouhe, an experienced Martial Lord, and he possessed an unprecedented Supreme Physique. This alone made Hou Yi unrivaled under heaven.𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

Though Mo Shouhe appeared to be forced a step back by Hou Yi, he had, in fact, invisibly neutralized all the power of Hou Yi’s punch without suffering any injury. On the contrary, Mo Shouhe’s finger glow wounded Hou Yi, albeit slightly, but it was enough to show that Mo Shouhe was still unfathomable and should not be underestimated because of his limited lifespan.

Of course, was there anyone among the four present who could be considered ordinary? It was only in this unprecedentedly prosperous era of Martial Arts that the continuous emergence of Martial Lords occurred. In any other era, would there be such a gathering of four invincible powerhouses?

"Mo Martial Master is truly formidable, but it seems that Mo Martial Master lacks vitality and may not have many years left," Hou Yi said, looking at Mo Shouhe, with candor.

Mo Shouhe ignored Hou Yi and instead looked again at the umbrella holder.

"Do you really think the future you see is certain?"
