Chapter 1854 - 1951: Big Black Mystical Crow

Chapter 1854: Chapter 1951: Big Black Mystical Crow

Fang Lin was startled, and before he could react, he found himself unable to see anything, as if covered by a layer of black cloth.

Even Fang Lin’s Heavenly Eye was engulfed in darkness. If anyone else were present, they’d see Fang Lin’s eyes and Heavenly Eye were completely black, appearing very eerie.

The tall, thin man appeared directly in front of Fang Lin, sending a punch toward his chest.

Though Fang Lin sensed the tall, thin man’s attack, his reaction was a bit slow and he was hit by the punch.

The punch carried immense power, and Fang Lin felt a sharp pain in his chest, as if his heart were cracking, forcing him to cough up blood.

The tall, thin man did not intend to let Fang Lin go and chased after him with another palm strike, hitting him on the Heavenly Spirit Cover.

This strike was clearly a killing move, intending to take Fang Lin’s life.

Bang!

Fang Lin took the heavy blow, blood seeping from his orifices. Though his skull wasn’t shattered by the tall, thin man, the strike left Fang Lin severely injured, his skull feeling as if it had cracked.

"Damn it! Not only can I not see, but my body feels so heavy; I can’t evade this guy’s attacks." Fang Lin cursed in his heart. Though his eyes and Heavenly Eye were blind, as an Immortal, his senses remained sharp enough to detect the opponent’s presence through their aura and sounds.

Unfortunately, Fang Lin’s body had also grown heavier, significantly affecting his movements. Despite being able to avoid the attacks, he couldn’t dodge in time.

During a battle between powerful beings, a moment’s hesitation can determine the outcome, even life or death. If Fang Lin couldn’t find a way to break through the current situation, defeat seemed inevitable.

The tall, thin man was surprised Fang Lin could still fight after taking both his punch and palm strike, but he was confident of victory. In his eyes, this Human Warrior posed no threat.

"Even if you wish to live now, I won’t give you a chance." The tall, thin man said coldly, waving his hand, and countless black lights descended from the sky like a rain of darkness.

Although Fang Lin couldn’t see, he felt an intense pressure and quickly activated The Ancient Lamp of Flame God, summoning the dense Skyfire from within to block the descending black lights.

Boom, boom, boom, boom!

The black lights clashed with the Skyfire, creating a breathtaking scene; the fire shot to the sky as if stimulated, and the countless black lights descending from above exploded. The terrifying aura pulverized the surrounding mountains, rocks, and trees, flattening the area within a thousand miles of Fang Lin.

"So you can wield Skyfire. It seems Red Eyes and the others didn’t exaggerate." The tall, thin man observed Fang Lin with his Heavenly Eye, showing no surprise as he muttered to himself.

The Skyfire’s power was immense, blocking all the black lights and, after doing so, condensing into the form of a Kylin.

"Hmm?" The tall, thin man’s frown deepened as he pointed a finger at the fire-formed Kylin.

A pitch-black finger light shot forth, piercing through the fiery Kylin and landing on Fang Lin.

Fang Lin groaned as his abdomen was penetrated by the black light. The injury itself was secondary; the real problem was the destructive energy the finger light unleashed within him.

Fortunately, Fang Lin had the Power of the Sacred Tree within him, and it quickly neutralized the finger light’s force.

Even so, the finger light prevented Fang Lin’s wound from healing swiftly, a testament to the user’s malice.

Despite the injuries, Fang Lin realized something crucial, and his heart calmed entirely.

"If I’m not mistaken, your true form is the Big Black Mystical Crow, am I right?" Fang Lin said coldly.

The tall, thin man’s expression remained unchanged, but Fang Lin wouldn’t have seen any reaction.

"That’s right, but even knowing my true form changes nothing. There’s no way you can break my power," the tall, thin man scoffed.

A slight smile appeared on Fang Lin’s lips. The Big Black Mystical Crow had an ancient lineage and was considered an Ancient Demon Beast, rare in this era.

But Fang Lin knew the Big Black Mystical Crow had a fatal weakness.

"Now that I know you’re the Big Black Mystical Crow, I’m confident I can kill you," Fang Lin declared.

Hearing this, the Big Black Mystical Crow felt a jolt of surprise. Could this Human Warrior know its fatal weakness?

But then, dismissing the thought, the Big Black Mystical Crow considered it unlikely; its weakness was scarcely known, even among other demons. How could a young Human Warrior possibly know?

"Ha, you can’t even fight back, and yet you’re boasting here," the Big Black Mystical Crow sneered.

Fang Lin gently shook his head. "Even if I didn’t know your weakness, I could kill you. Now knowing you’re the Big Black Mystical Crow just makes it easier."

The Big Black Mystical Crow felt uneasy, as Fang Lin’s words seemed to imply he truly knew its fatal weakness, compelling the Crow to be cautious.

Remaining silent, the Big Black Mystical Crow heard Fang Lin continue: "If I openly mentioned your weakness, you wouldn’t continue fighting me and would flee, right?"

"Stop your trickery," the Big Black Mystical Crow retorted with a sneer.

Fang Lin didn’t say more. He touched the center of his brow, and an intangible Sword Qi began to form before him.

"With this sword, I can cleave your soul," Fang Lin said.

The Big Black Mystical Crow’s face finally changed, looking at Fang Lin in disbelief, realizing that he truly knew its fatal weakness.

Although the Big Black Mystical Crow was a formidable Ancient Demon Beast, it was naturally weak-souled and terrified of thunder, and even more so of soul-killing techniques!

In essence, the Big Black Mystical Crow’s soul was more fragile than others, making it vulnerable to those who could wield thunder or knew soul-slaying arts.

While Fang Lin was not adept in thunder arts, he happened to know a soul-slaying technique, taught by Dugu Nian.
