Chapter 3885: You Can Continue
Still, Roan noticed something. ’Does that mean you cultivate with Starlight Energy? Or could it be you only use Starlight Energy to create Aether Energy for your abilities?’
Wisfreya usually wouldn’t be able to tell Roan that. Fortunately, since Roan signed the contract, there was no risk of the information laking out. That’s why she her own seal did not intervene when she talked about it. ’Yes, I do use Starlight Energy. In fact, it is better to say I use Aether Energy for cultivation.’
Roan nodded slightly. That explained why she could take so many experts down with such ease. Even if she was the only Saint Realm Peak Stage of this gathering, four of the seven guys she killed were in the Saint Realm as well. It shouldn’t have been so easy if the difference in cultivation was just two or three stages in the same Realm.
Roan is well aware of how much stronger his group became after they changed to the Sky Energy cultivation, and the same applies for Wisfreya here. Of course, even if she was at Roan’s level, she would still be weaker than him as Roan has many other advantages.
Rean, who was hearing the conversation, quickly asked Roan. ’If she uses Aether Energy, and her Aether Energy needs Starlight Energy, what is her source?’
Roan had the same question in mind, but he quickly poured a bucket of cold water over Rean’s thoughts. ’I know what you mean. You wish to know what kind of Starlight Energy Source she is using. However, you forget that she is only a Saint Realm Expert. For her, just the natural Starlight Energy in this environment is enough, especially if her cultivation technique allows her to find her personal star.’
’Ah...’ Rean did forget that indeed. ’That’s true. We are also an outlier since we need many times more energy than normal experts at our level.’
’Exactly,’ Roan looked at Wisfreya as he continued speaking to Rean through their connection. ’Not to mention, the concentration of narutal Starlight Energy in this A1 Universe is many times higher than what we had back in Lisan Universe. She probably won’t have trouble with Starlight Energy until she reaches the Transition Realm at the very least.’
[Well, it doesn’t hurt to ask, right?] Sister Orb joined. [Who knows? Perhaps she does have some clues about a proper Starlight Energy Source. I got quite a few options in the Werdlem Network for this A1 Universe, but we won’t be able to check them for a while.]
Roan pondered a bit and agreed. ’Very well, let me check with her.’
Finally, his attention returned to Wisfreya. ’Alright, my companion and I do use Starlight Energy to create something similar to your Aether Energy. Does this answer satify you?’
Wisfreya wasn’t satisfied, though. ’Didn’t I just say that I could feel that you had it? That doesn’t answer anything. I want to know why it is similar to mine. What kind of combination of energies do you use?’
Roan wondred if he should tell her for a moment, deciding to do so in the end. ’Well, you already know we use Starlight Energy, so there isn’t much of a reason to hide the other two. There is only one difference between you and us. You use your Bloodline Power on top of Divine Energy and Starlight Energy. In our case, we use Soul Power with Divine Energy and Starlight Energy. That’s the only difference. That’s why they feel similar.’
’Oh!’ Wisfreya was finally happy to get her answer. ’What is this energy called?’
’It doesn’t have a name,’ Roan answered. ’But because it has the same color as the blue sky, we decided to call it Sky Energy, simple and easy to remember.’
Wisfreya connected to her own Soul Power, trying to see if she could create Sky Energy of her own. Yet, she failed miserably. ’As I thought, just because I know what the other energy it, it doesn’t mean I can create it. Well, my Soul Power is pretty miserable too.’
’The same goes for us,’ Roan added. ’We can’t create the Aether Energy without your Luminous Aether Dragon Bloodline. In your case, without our cultivation technique and the right constitution, it is impossible for you to create our Sky Energy as well. Now, I have answered your question, so I hope you answer one of mine.’
’Absolutely,’ Wisfreya didn’t mind. ’Go ahead.’
’Do you use a Starlight Energy Source? Or do you use the natural Starlight Energy of the environment?’ Finally, Roan asked the main question.
’Source? I don’t use any source,’ Wisfreya answered straight away.
’As I thought,’ Roan didn’t mind, already expecting that answer.
’However, I don’t use the natural Starlight Energy either,’ Wisfreya added.
Roan stopped for a moment, and on the other side of his connections, Rean, Celis, Sister Orb, and Kentucky focused on that conversation. Not the natural starlight nor a source? Then what?
Wisfreya looked around, and Roan understood she was aprehensive to show them something in that location. After all, Roan and Wisfreya were in the Hazin Clan temporary residence during the gathering. ’I understand. Give me a second.’
Roan left the living room for a moment to talk to Ruriklin, who was in charge of the Hazin Clan entourage this time around. Finally, he returned to Wisfreya. ’Just wait a while longer. Someone is coming to pay us a visit.’
Wisfreya was puzzled but waited nonetheless. Even if their living room had an anti Divine Sense formation, no one trusted that.
"Yo, did you call?" Finally, Rean entered the room, having come back from the Enrel City Lord State residence.
It wasn’t hard to convince Ruriklin to let Rean come, as Ruriklin had seen Rean having that ’conversation’ back in the second event before acquiring the tokens. Roan told him that Wisfreya wanted to make an alliance for the next event in case it paired the participants with different cultivation realms. She had seen their abilities in the first event and thought they matched her power pretty well... or so Roan told him. Ruriklin, naturally, had nothing against it. If anything, he was more than happy to comply. Having an ally like Wifreya could bring Roan to the top spots of the gathering, a huge thing for their clan.
Back in the living room, after Rean’s arrival...
"You are the other kid." Wisfreya obviously recognized Rean, turning to Roan. "Why did you call him?"
Roan glanced at Rean, who smiled and waved his hand. In an instant, thousands of runes flew everywhere in the room, creating a new formation on top of the existing one. "Alright, with this formation in place, not even a Divinity Realm Expert would be able to see or hear us. That should be enough, right?"
Roan nodded slightly. "I don’t think we have any Celestial Realm Experts watching this place anyway."
Divinity Realm? Celestial Realm? Wisfreya wondered if those two were dreaming or something. What could cultivators at their level do against such powerhouses?
"Ahem... there wasn’t a need for this to be so overpowered, but that works..." She actualy didn’t believe at all Rean’s formation was that powerful. Could you blame her? Rean looked to be just a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator in her eyes.
Rean already expected that, but didn’t try to correct the girl’s notions. "Alright, Roan told me everything. You can continue."
