Chapter 75: Ten Days to Take Down Eight Blood Cultivation Realms

Seeing Logan volunteer, General Philip looked pleased.

But City Lord Garen still seemed uneasy and spoke softly: "Don't push yourself. Better move with the main force."

Logan shook his head.

He walked up to the map and drew a large area. "In this mountain region, there are eight Blood Cultivation Realms. They're all master-level. But there are fewer than a hundred familiar tamers nearby—not even enough to form a proper exploration team."

He turned to General Philip and offered: "Why not pull those hundred people out and let them support other zones? As for those eight master-level Blood Cultivation Realms, give me ten days and I'll clear them out completely."

Seeing Logan's confidence, General Philip nodded with a smile.

He patted Logan on the shoulder, a grin on his face. "You're this eager because you've got your eye on the resources in those Blood Cultivation Realms, right?"

Called out, Logan didn't hide it. "A big war is coming. If I get stronger, I can help carry more of the load."

General Philip laughed. "Good! That's the spirit!"

Garen, City Lord of Saint Heart City, also looked at Logan with admiration. "With disaster at our door, there's no reason to be stingy with the resources from these Blood Cultivation Realms. I hereby declare: all resources from Blood Cultivation Realms will be used to reward explorers. Logan, as long as you can take down a Blood Cultivation Realm, take whatever's inside. The Federation won't interfere."

With that, City Lord Garen picked up his phone to call Sorenso.

With things this bad now, the Tattalia family should step up too.

But when he called, no one answered, which made City Lord Garen very upset.

Just then, the soldiers sent to contact key figures rushed back.

It turned out Sorenso and old Corleone had already left the camp earlier together on a private jet.

With no other choice, everyone split up to act.

Logan went back to his tent. Yelena and Sawako had already left with Sophia.

Only Jessica was there, sitting on a suitcase, quietly waiting for him. "Can you take me with you this time?"

Logan thought for a moment, frowned, and said, "It's very dangerous."

Jessica pouted, then casually drew a streak of light that pierced the tent. "I can protect myself. I'm an elite-rank familiar tamer now."

Seeing the familiar light arrow shoot from Jessica's hand, Logan's eyes widened. "Holy Bolt? You learned it from Diana?"

Jessica nodded, and Logan was stunned.

For him to learn a familiar's skill, he has to rely on rune arrays.

But Jessica doesn't need to do anything—if her familiar uses a skill often, she can slowly learn it herself.

That ability is crazy!

Thinking about how Diana could protect her, Logan finally sighed and agreed to take Jessica along.

To travel faster, they both rode on the horned hawk, Red Feather, and flew into the mountains.

At first light, as the sun rose, Logan soon found the first master-level Blood Cultivation Realm of the trip.

Outside its gate, the registration area that should have been busy now had only seven or eight familiar tamers in line.

Logan landed beside them and saw they were huddled together having a meeting.

"Miss, we applied to explore this Blood Cultivation Realm and paid upfront. Why should one army order make us pull out?"

"Yeah, and they want us to wait here for the army's envoy, saying this whole area of Blood Cultivation Realms will be handled by the envoy alone. What a joke."

"I don't believe it. What kind of envoy could take down eight Blood Cultivation Realms alone in these mountains? Is the envoy some Legend-rank big shot?

"Don't be silly. In the Federation, even the lowest Legend-rank is a City Lord. Why would they do this job?"

"I bet the army found treasure inside and doesn't want us free familiar tamers touching it."

They were all talking over each other and didn't notice Logan behind them.

Then the woman in the middle stood up, clenched her fists, and said, "Since none of us agrees with the army's order, let's go into the Blood Cultivation Realm now!"

The others quickly echoed her.

"Right, they can't punish everyone. We'll go explore first. Can the army really make us hand over the loot later?"

"Good idea, Miss. If we move fast, maybe we can gang up and kill a whole master-level monster!"

Standing behind them, Logan saw he was getting ignored, so he coughed twice on purpose.

Their secret talk was cut off, and they all jumped like kids caught doing something wrong.

They turned and saw Logan and Jessica, and froze.

A burly man frowned, stepped in front of Logan, and barked: "Where did you kids come from? Don't you know the army ordered an evacuation? Get lost!"

The people around saw Logan and Jessica looked like teenagers and relaxed. "Scared me—I thought the army's envoy had arrived."

The guard beside the girl walked up to Logan, looked him over, and said, "Just two elite-rank kids. This isn't a place for you. Go back."

After being looked down on again and again, Jessica was already fuming.

She was about to speak up and argue when Logan pulled her behind him and said: "Didn't the army tell you to wait for the envoy? If you go into the Blood Cultivation Realm, who's going to guide the envoy?"

Called out by Logan right to their faces, everyone's easy mood tightened and they all frowned.

Some vicious familiar tamers quietly opened their familiar space, ready to release their familiars to attack Logan at any moment.

Seeing how brutal they were, Logan was about to teach them a lesson.

Suddenly, a woman in the crowd stepped out and blocked the familiar tamers who were about to act. "Why are you picking a fight with a kid? Close your familiar space!"

At her order, they held back, but their eyes stayed locked on Logan.

The woman walked up to Logan in high heels.

Logan realized she was a head taller than him.

And with each step, her chest swayed.

He swore to himself: this was the biggest pair of coconuts he'd seen in his life.

"Boy, lift your head," the woman said, noticing his gaze and frowning.

But even after he raised his head, he couldn't help noticing her proud chest.

Maybe she was used to being stared at, so she let it go and spoke loudly: "You heard us. We don't plan to follow the army's order, so you have two choices."

She drew the longsword at her waist and stabbed it into the ground, her voice cold as ice. "First choice: come with us, defy the order, and go explore the Blood Cultivation Realm. Second choice: leave one tongue and two hands, and we'll let you go."

As soon as she finished speaking, the familiar tamers behind her showed menacing looks.

Logan watched her quietly, his expression unchanged. "What's your name?"

Seeing that Logan wasn't afraid at all, the woman rated him a bit higher in her mind. "I'm Tracy, vice president of the Blood Blade Guild, the third biggest familiar tamer guild in Saint Heart City. If you know what's good for you, I can let you join our guild and be my bodyguard."

After her introduction, Logan nodded. "Alright, let's go in together."

Tracy hadn't expected him to agree so fast. She raised an eyebrow. "You're pretty sensible. I'm starting to like you a little."

Then she turned and pointed at the cart by the camp. "You and your little girlfriend are too weak. When we enter the Blood Cultivation Realm, just help us push the gear. We'll keep you safe, and you'll get a share of the loot."

When they heard Logan could get a share of the loot just by pushing gear, the other guild members got jealous and shot him envious, bitter looks.

"Brat, don't slack off!"

"What dumb luck—getting rewards just for pushing bags!"

"Shh, do you think the young lady might be into this kid?"

"Him? So skinny? No chance! The young lady said she likes strong men—like me!"

"Yeah right, stop bragging. Careful or the miss will break your third leg! She may look bold, but she hasn't even dated anyone yet."

Once the Blood Blade members walked off, Jessica pouted and came up to Logan. "What trick are you pulling now?"

Jessica knew Logan too well. She didn't believe he'd push luggage for someone else for no reason.

Even with Tracy's impressive figure, Logan wouldn't be swayed by that.

Thinking of this, Jessica slipped her arm through Logan's and pressed close to him.

Feeling her softness, Logan smiled. "Nothing much. We rushed out tonight and forgot the tent, sleeping bags, and other stuff."

He went over to a pile of crates, opened one, and his eyes lit up. "Look, there's even wine!"

So Logan and Jessica quietly started sorting the camp gear.

Seeing the two work without complaint, Tracy and the other Blood Blade members let their guard down.

They left only two people to watch Logan, while the rest entered the Blood Cultivation Realm to scout the area.
