"Fufufu… well, I would like to congratulate you, and in fact, we did send you some gifts just earlier this day. But, it might take a while since the amount is quite large,"

"And what did you send? A bomb?"

"Nope… a potion that I know you've wanted to get your hands on again and tons of money so you can build yourself an even bigger and better home. Create your dream business or even make your own adventurers guild… how about that? Pretty nice, am I right?"

"Hmph… just make sure my wife stays safe. That is all I ask for," I muttered before the king went to go greet another candidate, yet I had no interest in talking to any of the ones.

I just came here to set things straight with this man, and then I was going to return once more to my wife, only coming back upon being summoned by the man himself.

"I'm home~," I announced, slowly opening the door to my humble abode, only to see my wife quietly sleeping on the couch, her head turned towards the door as if she had been waiting for me the entire day.

I couldn't help but giggle slightly upon seeing this woman's adorable face, and as I slowly moved my way over to her, I saw her ears twitch.

She then snapped her eyes awake and turned towards me, her eyes still wide from the sudden shock of me disturbiung her sleep.

"Was I too loud?" I asked, glancing over at the stack of presents just next to the entrance to our bedroom.

"N-No," She rubbed her eyes before slowly making her way out off the couch and dangling her arms on my shoulders, her lips slowly approaching mine. "I thought you wouldn't come back," She muttered, a bit sorrow lingering in her voice.

"Huh?! Why would you ever assume that?!" I exclaimed, since making such a baseless comment was almost offensive.

"Well, they gave me so many presents that I thought it was in exchange for you… I'm just glad that wasn't true," She smiled before wrapping her dangling arms around my back and bringing me in for a warm yet short kiss.

She was a bit eager as her tongue occasionally tried to slip into my mouth, but since I wanted to have something to eat first, I slowly pulled away.

"I'll make myself something to eat, and then we can get to it… on top of that, one of the presents here should be just what we wanted… having a child of our own won't just be a dream anymore, though there is something we need to figure out first," I muttered before walking over to the kitchen and opening the refrigerator.

But, Synzer's arms slowly wrapped around my waist again, and her hips pressed against mine as she bent over to kiss the back of my neck.

"Babe… I'm still hungry… just let me finish eating something first before we have some fun," I lightly chuckled, but she suddenly turned me around and pinned my arms above my head, holding me against the wall.

"Well, I'm also pretty hungry,"

"Then, we should just eat together," I sighed, but Synzer refused to let go of my wrists, so I kneed her in the stomach and patted my hands together to wipe off the dust.

"Hmph… stop being such an idiot," I clicked my tongue before preparing both of us something to eat.

As Synzer quietly sulked to herself at the dinner table, I couldn't help but take quick glances at her because she was normally so bright and cheery.

"*sigh*... What's wrong?" I asked as I was pretty sure that I knew why she was like this.

"I-I want to hold and kiss and hug you more," She muttered quietly, and I couldn't help but chuckle just a bit before placing the two steaks on the table.

"Then, you can do that after we eat," I smiled, and as I handed her a pair of utensils, I talked about the various events I had gone through today.

Hanging out with the other general candidates was pretty fun since they were also pretty much just drafted into this position.

Most of them were aspiring S-rank adventurers or amazing and powerful gladiators who mainly just fought for fame and not the money… yet all of us were drafted into this unwanted position.

"What a shit show," Synzer smirked before setting down her utensils.

After we both finished eating, we brushed our teeth and took a quick shower together where Synzer continuously tried to get a feel of my boobs, but with my quick hands, I was able to keep her away.

Then, just as Synzer got ready for bed, I dragged her out to open up the presents we had both received, sort of directing the excitement away from her horniness just for a mere moment.

"Okay… and here we got… ooohhhh… a beautiful sword. It's also pretty sturdy," I muttered, lightly flicking it with my fingernail.

"Oh my… this is amazing," Synzer muttered with a wide grin as she unboxed a pair of twin black daggers that were probably as long as her forearms, but they were light, sturdy, and most of all, extremely sharp.

As she looked over her new present with sparkling eyes, I unboxed another present which was a set of armor that the king had sent me for the battlefield.

It was obvious he was trying to make me as powerful as possible by upgrading me with various different gear.

"Though, I don't really mind," I muttered to myself before moving onto one final box that sat neatly at the back of the unwrapped presents.

Synzer immediately locked onto it, intrigued as to why this was the only relatively small present since everything else was definitely big.

We received ornaments, furniture, and even exotic vegetable and fruit seeds that we could use to make some more money… but this one was in the smallest box.

Even the seed boxes were bigger than this, so the anticipation was kind of high.

And just as I unraveled the ribbon and opened up the box, a glowing vial of light green liquid began to glow into the room.

"Geez… this is so funny," I chuckled before taking out the vial and sitting it down on the hard wooden boards making up the floor of my cabin.

"What is that?" Synzer asked, intrigued by the potion's unique green glow, but just as she was about to pick it up, I snatched it from her.

"Nope~... This is the same potion we had in the past plane," I muttered, and Synzer was a bit confused for a moment until she finally collected the dots and looked up at me with a naughty smile.

"You naughty girl… did you personally request for this from the king?"

"Nope. He just thought we would need, and I guess he somehow figured out we were looking for ways to obtain a child… and now, I guess adoption is off the table," I chuckled before sliding the potion back onto the wooden boards. "So, who will have the baby?"

"Well, shouldn't it be you?" Synzer announced. "I mean, if you want to get out of being a general, then this could be the perfect chance,"

"Yeah… I don't think that will really work. The king will definitely make me have an abortion, and running away isn't an option now, so I believe you have the baby would be the best choice… or we don't have to do it now. We can always do it some other time… there isn't really a rush, and I don't want to be missing from my child's life if I'm on the battlefield… plus, I need to help you when you're struggling, so…."

"It's fine. I can take care of myself if need be, but always visit me whenever you have the chance. Even if there is five minutes between a battle, I want to see you," Synzer demanded with a cute pout.

"Of course," I chuckled before popping open the cork to the green liquid and letting its surprisingly floral fumes fill my sinuses.

Before I could even do anything else, Synzer pinned me to the ground, and she squirmed her way in between my legs, slowly parting them, disappointed to see that nothing had changed.

"Just give it a few minutes," I chuckled as she awkwardly backed away and let me get up.

We moved our way over to the bed, where I immediately took the lead and wrapped both my arms around Synzer's waist, bringing her in for a slow and sensual kiss.

My tongue invaded her mouth as she moaned into mine, so horny that her minty fresh breath was practically panting into my throat.

And, just as I pushed her onto the bed, I locked her hands above her head, and she saw a tent slowly emerge from my nightgown.

"Alright, baby… let's get to it," I muttered seductively before taking off my nightgown.
