The Rise of Quetzalcoatl

Chapter 187: Demon Worshippers (2)

We had also found the cult-like room where all the worshipping stuff I had seen before was commencing, but this time, large barrels of what I assumed to be blood sat around the circular cave.

"WHAT A FEAST!" One of the vampires shouted, and just as it reached for one of the barrels, a few cloaked humans ran in the way, tearing them apart but also having the vampire back away.

Wow, they're that dedicated?

All of a sudden, a powerful and familiar presence appeared.

A man stepped out of a black portal, and he had short black hair and pitch-black eyes, almost creepily similar to Charna.

"Yo, are you guys related?" Aria asked Charna, who looked bored as always despite the overwhelming pressure being emitted from the guy before us.

"No, he just has similar features. He doesn't even look Korean," She responded, and we all shrugged as she had a point.

"Ugh, you all keep interfering with my plans. Can't you let this ride go smoothly?" The guy muttered before waving his hand at us, creating a blast of black wind, which I just barely managed to dodge.

He then quickly closed the gaps while signaling for the cloaked men around him to charge at the vampires.

I didn't have time to worry about those bloodsuckers, though, as I had blinked and already switched bodies.

As my own body and a few other girls created space with their powers, I conjured thousands of pink spears made of bright flames in the air.

They seemingly boiled the atmosphere before I waved my hand down, sending them flying towards the man.

To block it, he waved his hand up, creating a wall of black wind, plus a disgusting and grotesque black liquid oozed out from the bottom of the wall.

It coated the floor beneath us, and we immediately watched our step as this thing could potentially be dangerous.

I blinked again, and this time I was in Clio's body, and since I've been dying to try out her cool powers, I decided to make a bit of space for us.

"This should do," I muttered before activating a skill named [Sand Biome].

It was a skill that allowed me to manipulate any earth around me by turning it into sand and either making it disappear or letting it fall to the ground.

For only a few seconds, I thought about it and instantly made up my mind as I waved the two sickles in my hands down, causing most of the cave to turn to sand.

I left the ceiling intact as if it fell on us, that would most likely be the death of us, and that isn't very good.

The walls, on the other hand, immediately fell to the ground, and a large cavern appeared.

The man fighting all twelve of us at the same time was a bit shocked by the sudden change, but besides that, he was fighting pretty casually.

I knew we were strong, but this guy was dodging all of our attacks as if it was nothing.

I blinked again and got a glimpse of what looked to be the vampires tearing apart all the worshippers without a care in the world.

"They could at least help us," I muttered before drawing the water arrow cocked in my water bow and shooting it at the man.

[Tsunamis Wrath]

The sand below us immediately turned wet as my arrow created a large wave, not really a tsunami, but a large wave that crashed into the man, throwing him to the ground.

It was something impossible to block because even when he created a wall in front of him, the water would just crash from the sides.

[Whirlpool]

This was a combo sent into my mind after blinking into Ethel's body, and so after drawing another arrow of water, I let it go.

A blast of water trailed behind the arrow and sunk into the man's body as he tried to escape the crashing waves, beating him from all sides.

I saw my own body and whoever was in Electra gather ice in their palms, but I quickly shouted,

"WAIT! NOT YET!"

They immediately followed my orders and understood my intentions as the arrow had now turned into a whirlpool that spun the man around and around.

Despite his terrible situation, he seemed a bit too calm as his pitch-black eyes spread to the white of his eyes, creating a demonic appearance.

"This is what my father has given me," He muttered before the black in his eyes turned gray, and it suddenly spread to his pale white skin.

He now looked like a gray statue or something akin to a gargoyle as he grew a demonic tale and two demonic gray horns on his head.

"[Necromancy],"

Whoever was in my body, though, saved us from an initial blast of power that was released from the man- no, demon's body as it transformed.

Hundreds of corpses jumped in front of us, blocking most of the hit, but the remaining power sent us flying across the cavern.

Also, as soon as we landed, whoever was in Clio's body softened the sand, causing us to take very minimal damage.

But, that damage was instantly healed by our monster constitutions.

I blinked and appeared in a body with green hair and smiled as this was probably the most fun power to play around with.

FWOOSH

A massive orange and yellow drake appeared beside me, and its appearance was so cool that I couldn't help but gawk for a bit.

The spines on its back and the very tiny wings also made it a bit cute as it looked at me with a confused expression.

"Let's go, buddy,"

I ordered the drake to go serve as some fodder as I didn't care much about it and then proceeded to create a massive sword made from sunlight.

It pierced the ceiling above, so I had to size it down a bit, and after feeling the power of the sun surge through my body, I widened my eyes.

[You have activated Sun Dragons Child]

Yellow scales appeared on my skin, and my pupils were now a bright yellow, just like the sun.
