The Last King Of Darkness

Chapter 608: Breaking Through the King of Light (Part 2)

And the more it undergoes Rebirth, the weaker the Red Witch's power becomes. It stops attacking and focuses on defense, ironically making it harder to kill.

But if left alone, it will quickly return to its original state.

This means all previous efforts would be in vain.

Hence, many people consider this battle to be the most disgusting and distressing. If it weren't necessary to clear this area, no one would want to deal with such a disgusting monster.

But now, the "Ice Prison" has cut off its resurrection ability, which to most warriors is like a sudden relief after being constipated for ten days.

That feeling of exhilaration is simply indescribable.

Rod never expected that he would gain so much humanity from this, at least a million in total.

And the total number of people here is only several hundred, no more than a thousand.

This means each person contributed several thousand of humanity.

There was even a Flower of Humanity.

Rod was stunned. How much suffering did they endure from the Red Witch? Contributing even a Flower of Humanity, which requires the deepest soul tremors to obtain.

He checked the name and found it was an old acquaintance.

Great Sword Tai Luo.

This guy was here too?

Rod almost thought he was mistaken. Tai Luo, with the Light Attribute, was once one of the supernovas competing with him. After the battle of Starry Sky, he made significant progress and consumed a Star Source Potion, taking a step across the chasm between strong and mortal.

He thought Tai Luo was still in special training; unexpectedly, he was also one of the 20 First Level Combatants who came to the Red Forest.

It seemed that the Royal City was truly investing heavily to eradicate the obstacle of the Red Forest.

Except for the truly scarce Special Level combat power, which couldn't be deployed, their regular combat power was maxed out.

Soon, Rod encountered him in the Red Forest.

Tai Luo wielded a Light Sword, his entire body glowing brilliantly, almost turning him into a being of pure light as he chased a large group of Red Witches, cursing with every slash.

"Shit! Revive again, I dare you!"

"Revive, damn it! I'll cut the crap out of you!"

"Think your buffer skin is amazing? One slash and I'll burst you open!"

"What? You dare take on the appearance of my father, Rod? I'll bust you open!"

The Light Sword came crashing down, a strong sense of crisis striking his soul. Fortunately, Rod shouted in time, "Tai Luo, it's me!"

Tai Luo's eyes widened, knowing monsters couldn't speak unless their soul was under mental interference.

After ruling out this possibility, he exclaimed with joy, "Dad, you're here!" He rushed up and pulled Rod into his embrace.

"Hey! I can't breathe!"

Tai Luo quickly released him, "Oh, oh, sorry, I was too excited. Dad, you have no idea how I've been these past two weeks. This disgusting thing is grossing me out every day, being shredded like shit and reassembling; I dream of it every night, under my covers it's there, even my bowl is filled with it when I eat. I'm going insane! Ahhhhhhh!"

Clearly, Tai Luo was very frustrated.

He vented his grievances to Rod, saying that this place was entirely unsuitable for him. As a heavy sword warrior with explosive power, these Red Witches were stinky and tough, ridiculously hard to kill. If he kept fighting, he felt like he'd lose all confidence.

Yet the first Defense Chief, influenced by Iyeta's malevolence, insisted that he was well-suited here against his protests, forcibly keeping him there.

Even telling him he could find a chance for advancement here.

"Absolute nonsense!"

Tai Luo cursed in anger.

"That bald man is just full of it; there's no way my advancement possibility is hidden in this pile of crap."

But you didn't have to call me dad…

Rod suppressed his laughter, realizing Tai Luo returned to the battlefield because he was stuck, unable to advance, and couldn't find a chance for promotion.

"Alright, it's all over now. Let's fight side by side, and just call me Brother Rod."

Tai Luo enthusiastically shouted, "No way, from the moment I slay the Red Witch, you've been my godfather, Qingyu my godmother, and all your harems are my godsecond, third mothers…"

Rod quickly covered his mouth, knowing the people he mentioned were right behind them, and it wasn't good to be overheard.

"Don't talk about that, I can't wait to fight alongside you."

Tai Luo's blood surged, quickly forgetting that matter, "Let's go! I can't wait either!"

The Light Sword swung as he charged back into the horde of Red Witches.

Rod also gathered his Star Sword, empowered by "Bright Red Tears," going on a mad hunt for Red Witches.

Behind him, bright flames illuminated a vast area as Qingyu became a pure fire avatar, wielding a Flame Greatsword, weaving through the Red Witch horde.

The Red Witches burned and froze, under the dual assault of ice and fire, swiftly meeting their demise.

Kashan, Anna, and White Wolf were also fighting with all their might.

Kashan's body was surrounded by red mist, the power of rage coursing through her. The Red Witches' buffer skin couldn't withstand her Fury Fist, leaving them entirely annihilated.

Anna was enjoying the experience of paralyzing hundreds for the first time. Her Spirit Spear would paralyze a Red Witch in place with one throw, unable to move for ages.

White Wolf used his air walls to squeeze the Red Witches together for the young lady to kill.

Alo served as the cheerleader, cheering them on from the side.
